Trigg County is so blessed to have Lighthouse Medical School. The Way is so blessed to host it. Lighthouse and its "owners Dr(s) Marie (MD) and Eric Cook have helped dozens of students, including many single Moms, get jobs and better jobs. They do so at a much lower cost to students because it is a "ministry" for them and The Way does not charge rent.A photo of their students who passed their national phlebotomy certification exam. From left to right - Tammy Sisk, Jada Merritt, Tamarah Burns, Charmaine Leverson, and Hannah Hurt. PRAISE THE LORD for a wonderful afternoon at Judgement House at South Side Baptist Church in Princeton. Eleven students attended and 4 adults. The presentation "Gone In A Flash" was well done and had a simple, but very powerful message. The sets were realistic! The guides added so much to reemphasize the message of each scene and to articulate the plan of Salvation. Everyone at South Side very friendly. Students well behaved. Most importantly, One Student accepted CHRIST as SAVIOR and 2 more annotated their cards as wanting to know more about how to have a relationship with JESUS. We are already working to discuss further and have notified two Churches which are geographically close to student's homes. Please be in prayer for James, Star and Kaylee.Special thanks to Penny MItchell who was the first to offer help and drove Caldwell Blue Spring's bus so students from The Way could attend. Thanks to Sister Kathy Hyde (monthly food provider) of Caldwell Blue Springs for riding "shot gun". Thanks to Sister Greta Smith who made sure students had something to eat before leaving and coordinated ice cream treats at DQ on the way home. Thanks to South Side (Pastor Kyle Noffsinger and Youth Minister Josh Drake) for hosting this wonderful ministry. They are working hard to build attendance after being adversely effected by COVID. As wonderful a day as it was, it could have been so much better if we had been able to take more students. Please prayerfully consider being involved next year and getting your Church involved as well to transport students of The Way. ... See MoreSee Less

So many people to thank including members of The Way, Simple Blessings and other individuals who have been a part for many years or this year for the first time. The ham biscuit sold out as the line went past Cadiz Baptist annex. Most importantly CHRIST's love was shown and GOD Glorified. More to follow in the near future,L-R Matt Shown (AKA Pillsbury Dough Boy ---after diet), WKDZ reporter, and Greta Smith. Bro. Matt really stepped up to lead the effort to spread dough on pan and help in so many other ways. Several from his congregation (Crossroads) assisted. As mentioned above, GOD used Greta in a wonderful way to make the day a great success. She had a great team, but she set the pace and direction. We are so proud of them all. ... See MoreSee Less

We are so blessed to have so many Churches and individuals who sacrifice their "time and treasure" to support the LORD's ministry at The Way. A special thanks to each of the below Churches and individuals who bless our students and volunteers and to those who we have yet to recognize because I have failed to take pictures. We often say, "The Way is an example of what GOD will do when Christians work together towards a common goal ---to share the love of CHRIST, in word and deed, with students and their families". Our food providers bring much more than physical sustenance each day. They bring friendly smiles, words of encouragement, and evidence of CHRIST's love. For many of our students the food they receive is a most welcome gift between early school lunches and a later supper when parents get home from work. For a significant number of our students, their meal at The Way is all they will have to eat. Food provided is always appreciated and if any is left over, it either goes to families which we know are in need or saved for the next day. OH ---at least 5 Church food providers have bragged on how well-mannered the students are when getting food, including "please" and "thank you". The Way emphasizes the first day students arrive in 6th grade to the last day they attend before graduating. This year's group of 6th graders ("Class of 2032") seem to be catching on quickly. We emphasize because such courtesy will benefit them throughout their lives. Just a few of our food providers are pictured below. I apologize for not listing names this time. However, GOD knows who they are and will bless (Matthew 25-34-46). ... See MoreSee Less
