Recently, Missionary Radio (formerly WNKJ) greatly blessed The Way by producing several wonderful promotional programs, including an absolutely phenomenal professional "ministry spotlight" video. The You Tube link is below. We are so grateful to Bro. Andrew Cummins for all of his initiative, hard work and skills in creating a video log which captures the essences of what the LORD is doing at The Way through servant volunteers as yourselves. We are especially honored that The Way would be the first ministry Missionary Radio would spotlight. ... See MoreSee Less

Special Thanks: LaDonna Diggs needs no introduction to most Trigg Countians. The light of CHRIST not only "shines" through her, but "brightly illuminates" in the presence of those who are blessed to spend a few moments with her. This Trigg County Hall of Fame Athlete now excels in being a blessing to so many in Trigg ----sick, hospitalized, bereaved, in need, etc. The Way has been "recruiting" her for years to volunteer at The Way. Her busy humanitarian schedule has so far precluded, but believe we are making progress. 🙂 As she does so often, with so many, Sister LaDonna has been bringing food "bargains", she has found to benefit students at The Way. Some of the food goes to student meals while they are at The Way and the rest to the families of our students who can use it the most. ... See MoreSee Less

Ladarious, a 6th grader, holds his MVP trophies for both 6th and 7th grade (combined) teams. We are so grateful Ladarious and siblings Lamarion and Bryonna attend The Way. ... See MoreSee Less

The Way is so proud of Trigg County's Special Olympics Sports programs , headed by Theresa Wilson, Fred Wilson, Eric Bleidt, and others. We are especially blessed to allow them to use our gym, and other facilities GOD has provided through kindness of area Churches and other Christian donors. We also have been blessed to give equipment (which was donated for The Way yard sale) for Special Olympics Softball Team. Basketball team was Commonwealth runner up after being Commonwealth Champion last year (or year before). Pictured above is the team and coaches at a recent award presentation from Murray State University. ... See MoreSee Less

The Way is so blessed to have such wonderful Churches as partners in ministering to students. The dear Christians who come to provide food for our students do something much more important---- they share the love of CHRIST with students. Two of those who are such blessing are One Church and Calvary Missionary Baptist. The Sisters from One Church including Charity King and Cory Heck provide amazing arts and crafts opportunities for our students each time they bring food. There are always a dozen or so students who anxiously participate in ceramic painting, soap making, drawing, and a myriad of other creative activities One Church. Pictures below reflect an afternoon of painting Valentine's themes. Calvary Baptist is also a blessing in so many ways. Brother Don does great devotions and fellowships with students. Sister Dale is an invaluable member of the team which helps so many students at The Way's Clothes Closet each week. Bro. Clay truly has a servant's heart and helps in every way imaginable, from picking up bottled water at Hancock's and serving it at The Way to doing devotions, serving food, and cleaning up at days end. ...
